The Virtual University and the Internet

This paper takes the position that more is possible if e-commerce developments are included broadly. The partnerships being formed to deliver commercial e-training have infrastructure that is valuable to universities with their large teaching data sets. A requirements analysis, selection of the group best placed to handle each requirement, coupled with reflection on the `core business’ for the particular university, can show the association most appropriate to a given VU.
